Delete your account

You can delete your OnSalah account, and everything kept with it, at any time: in the app, or by email if you don’t have the app.

In the app

Open the menu, then Account & settings, then Privacy & data, and tap Delete my account. Your account and everything stored with it is deleted straight away, and the app on your phone starts fresh.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours, and we reply within a month.

What’s deleted

Your account: the email address your sign-in gives us and the ID for your sign-in, with the name and profile picture Google passes on if you signed in with Google. If you signed in with Apple, your Apple sign-in is revoked too.

Everything stored with it: your salah log, your starting point from onboarding, the struggles you picked, your worship tasks, your plans and your settings, the record of what you agreed to, and when you opened the Fajr reminder and last used the app.

Deleting in the app also clears what the app keeps only on your phone. By email, we can delete only what’s on our servers: what’s kept only on your phone never reaches us.

What’s kept

The App Store or Google Play keep their own record of any purchase, as they need to for payments and refunds.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your store first: on iPhone in Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions; on Android in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions.

More on how your data is kept is in our privacy notice.
